It is possible for someone to conceive the core idea of this proposal, if he places himself at the edge of the jetty, which, unlike the “internal” space at the city of Volos, is conditioned by a situation of clear and blue sky as well as by an open air; the light (the natural daylight in the morning and the artificial one in the evening), the air, the damp, the sea puss, these all formulate conditions for participating in the natural energy of the environmental space. The main idea of the proposed project consist in the enhancement and extension of the prototypical function of the windsock as a machine, which “emits light”, to a machine which “emits information” on the weather conditions.
